Although vintage 1960s muscle cars like the classic 1964 to 1966 Ford Mustang might be the hot ticket
in today’s collector car market, these cars are nonetheless 40-year-old "antiques" by contemporary
federal (DOT) lighting and safety standards. As such, they fall a bit short in regards to that all-important
"safety zone" you always hear automotive engineers talking about.
